Our approach
Start with the person. Build the system.
We work at the point where an individual's abilities and an organisation's needs meet, and we make sure what works once can keep working.
Strengths before vacancies
We do not start with a list of open jobs. We start by discovering what a person can contribute and what interests them, then shape work around that.
Systems before goodwill
A workshop alone cannot fix an inaccessible portal or a reluctant manager. We look for the structural barriers and help remove them.
Evidence before claims
We separate what is confirmed from what is planned, keep a record of what actually happened, and report outcomes honestly.
Customised Employment
A proven method for people the usual hiring process leaves out
Customised Employment is an internationally recognised approach that matches a person's strengths, interests and conditions with the real needs of an employer. Instead of competing for a standard job description, the person is supported into a role designed with them.
Our practice follows the Marc Gold & Associates methodology, and we work with experienced mentors in the field.
- Discovery: getting to know the person in their own context.
- Planning: a clear picture of ideal conditions for work.
- Job development: working with employers to shape a real role.
- Support: training, accommodation and follow up after placement.
How an engagement runs
Four stages
Listen
Understand your goals, people, properties and current practice.
Assess
Map barriers, readiness and opportunities across systems and teams.
Build
Design and run the pathways, tools, training and partnerships.
Sustain
Track outcomes, support retention and hand over capability to your team.
Work with us
Ready to move from intention to inclusion that works?
Every engagement starts with a conversation about where your organisation is today and what you want inclusion to achieve.
